Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed he does not know whether Kyle Walker will move to Saudi Arabia in the near future.

Walker’s contract expires in 2026, however, he has played less this season, starting just nine Premier League games, and

has been linked with a move away from the Etihad.

Walker has seen his playing time reduced in 2024-25, making just nine starts in 15 Premier League appearances, with Rico Lewis preferred at right-back in recent weeks.

Walker, who is under contract until the end of 2025-26, was close to joining Bayern Munich in 2023 but ultimately committed his future to City.

Asked about the change, Guardiola said: “He hasn’t had as much playing time as he used to. “
